La Painthouse is a FRENCH Creation Studio for Design & Textiles based in Berlin.
The studio launched its new clothing line in February 2010 under the name LaPH. Self-descriptions are never easy but here’s what we do to contribute to a worldwide fashion awareness:
Each line of clothing is based on 3 ingredients:
- A basic theme (for this first season, our inspiration was the money, how we spend it and how it influences our behaviour .
- A critical interpretation or artistic vision of that theme
- The use of a high quality cotton and print for an edgy top-notch end result.
We take these 3 elements and transform them into a highly wearable item by extolling the virtues of an environment friendly manufacture. The Studio is also involved in collaborations and cobrandings on various mediums (Shoes, toys, canvas among others).

La Painthouse est un studio Français de création Design & Textiles basé à Berlin.
Notre studio vient de lancer en février 2010 une ligne de vêtement sous le nom de LaPH. C’est jamais évident de dire qui l’on est mais « textilement » parlant, voici notre leitmotiv :
Pour chaque ligne de vêtements on travaille avec 3 ingrédients :
- Un thème de base (pour cette saison, on s’est inspiré de l'argent et ce qui en découle.
- Une interprétation critique ou vision artistique de ce thème.
- L’utilisation d’une impression et d’un coton de pure qualité pour un produit haut de gamme.
Ces trois éléments, on essaye de les retranscrire sous forme d’un vêtement en prônant une fabrication respectueuse de l’homme et de son environnement.
Le Studio fait également des collaborations et cobrandings sur différents supports (Shoes, toys, toiles et autres).
